Each building permit filed in the last 90 days that names a contractor counts once for that firm; the firm is resolved to a company file where one exists, else counted by the name on the permit. Owner-builder permits are excluded. Trade sub-permits are excluded.
City of Austin permits carry the contractor and a phone number, TDLR registrations carry the owner. Owner changes come off the Travis CAD roll with buyer and seller but no price: Texas does not disclose sale prices, and Travis County publishes no deed feed.
